We are looking for an experienced, motivated Technical Writer to join our Technical Documentation and Training team.
The Technical Writer will be responsible for composing instruction manuals, customer documentation and training materials for our security related electronic products. The documentation that you will create allows our clients to understand and follow installation and applications of our products.
:
- Write concise, accessible documentation for all of our platforms.
- Contribute to the design and content of instruction manuals and training materials.
- Provide editing services to others on the Technical Documentation team and elsewhere in the company.
- At least 2-3 years as a technical writer in a diversified environment
- Ability to design information presentation for "book" format as well as for topic-based online help
- Good analytical skills are a must, as are computer skills, especially with the Microsoft Office Suite and QuarkXPress or Adobe InDesign.
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must have very good communication skills – both oral and written
- Must be able to work within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects within a fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritize, follow directions and work independently
- Experience with electronic security products a plus
Experienced, electronic engineers for R&D/Lab support and product development.
Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design. Ability to utilize design tools, i.e. CAD, emulators, etc. desired. Product development involves circuit/protocol understanding of power supplies, video/audio amps, ethernet interface, USB interface. Competent understanding of several of the above areas is required.
Experienced, detail-oriented electronic technicians for Manufacturing/Lab support.
Proficiency in analog and digital circuitry, bench testing and the ability to troubleshoot and repair circuit boards.
Inside Technical Support positions.
Experience and knowledge in the following areas is a must: Access Control, Fire Alarm, CCTV and Security Systems.
